Description

Following on from feedback at our recent Edinburgh Course, we have decided to compress the course into 3 days: we can achieve this as some of the Powerpoints are quicker to present than was expected. However, we will not shorten the length of the practical sessions. This means that the course will now be reduced to £590. The shortened course will make it easier to get time off from work and should also save delegates money on hotel costs.

Our 3-day courses are accredited with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP: www.bipp.com). Students who pass the assessment on Day 3 will be eligible to apply for licentiate membership of BIPP which awards the “LBIPP” post-nominal.

Each course is conducted by experienced photographers and doctors: all are BIPP-qualified. The courses attract 20 CPD points (pending) via the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine (FFLM) in London (www.fflm.ac.uk) and are approximately 50% theory and 50% practical. We cover ethical and legal issues such as consent, confidentiality, data protection and GMC guidelines.

All equipment is provided. We use Nikon SLR cameras with the settings in “manual”.  Make-up artists reproduce injuries such as erythema, bruises, scars and abrasions by using fake blood, skin wax and make-up: we practise on each other for this!

There is a maximum of 12 students per course with much of the practical work involving pairing-up to help with learning.

Terms and conditions of course.

NB: Additional 20% discount until 31st Dec 2017 using the Booking Code FFLM2017
