All payments must be made in full prior to commencing a course. A receipt will be issued once the booking has been made.
Notification of cancellation received in writing more than two weeks prior to a course commencing will entitle the delegate to a 100% refund, or transfer of fees to a later course.
Cancellation within two weeks of the commencement of the course will result in a 50% refund. Cancellation within 48 hours of the commencement of a course will result in the course fee being forfeited as there are fixed fees for Patient Focused! to pay in organising courses.
Cancellations at any timeframe can be transferred in full to a later course, though these would be liable to a refund as per (3).
In rare or unforeseen circumstances, Patient Focused! retains the right to cancel a course: all affected parties will be notified as soon as practically possible and full refunds for the course fee will be allocated.
All photographic equipment is provided by Patient Focused! and remains the property of Patient Focused! during the courses. Patient Focused! reserves the right to seek compensation for damage to its equipment resulting from irresponsible use.
A certificate of completion will be issued to all delegates who complete the course.
If a delegate chooses to divide the three days of the course over separate courses, the three days must be completed within 6 months.
Those delegates who achieve a 60% result in the assessment on day 3 of the course will be eligible to apply for Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography, which attracts the LBIPP post-nominal. There will be an additional joining fee for this of £180 (details at bipp.com ) but Patient Focused! does not benefit financially from this arrangement.
In the event that a delegate is unsuccessful in achieving 60% in the assessment, the delegate will be offered the opportunity to attend the third day of a future course (within 6 months) to resit the assessment. There will be no charge for this re-attendance. The delegate will be allowed three attempts as a maximum.
Course fees include tea, coffee and biscuits on each day of the course. Lunch is also included daily as part of the course fees.
Photographs will be taken during the courses and may be uploaded to the Recent Courses page on the Patient Focused! website. Please advise the course organisers if you have any objections to your image being used in this regard.
Privacy Policy: In line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Patient Focused! will not forward personal information onto any third parties, unless there is a statutory requirement to do so, or it is forwarded with the individual’s consent. Financial data is stored on secure Paypal servers and their Privacy Policy is available here. Data relating to registration on Patient Focused! courses is stored securely on Hotbox Studio Servers and their Privacy Policy is available here. For those delegates who are successful in the assessment, BIPP’s Privacy Policy is available for inspection here.
